What we believe

We believe in one God, consisting of three separate and distinct Persons:

a) The Father (John 12:28b)

b) The Son (Is. 48:16)

c) The Holy Spirit (Acts 10:19, 20)

These three Persons have existed for all eternity:

a) The Father (Ps. 90:2)

b) The Son (Mic. 5:2)

c) The Holy Spirit (Heb. 9:14)

We believe the Godhead share the following attributes:

Omnipotent:

God the Father (1 Pet. 1:5)

God the Son (2 Cor. 12:9)

God the Holy Spirit (Rom. 15:9)

Omniscient:

The Father (Jer. 17:10)

The Son (Rev. 2:23)

The Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 2:11)

Omnipresent:

The Father (Jer. 23:24)

The Son (Matt. 18.20)

The Holy Spirit (Ps. 139:7)

We believe the Trinity worked together in the creation of the world:

The Father (Gen.1:1)

The Son (Col. 1:16-18)

The Holy Spirit (Job 26:13)

They each worked in unity to resurrect Jesus Christ from the dead:

The Father raised Him from the dead (Gal. 1:1)

The Son raised Himself from the dead (John 2:19-21)

The Holy Spirit raised Him from the dead (Rom. 8:11)

All three Members of the Godhead can work in harmony with one another while at the same time working independently from one another.

We believe in a young earth (thousands of years old) and we believe in a literal 6/24-hour day creation of the world.

We believe that mankind is universally sinful and wicked (Gen. 6:5; Rom. 3:23; 5:12) yet everybody has the potential to be saved (John 12:32; Rom. 5:18; 1 Tim. 4:10), should they repent (Acts 5:31; 11:18; 17:30) and call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation (John 1:12; Rom. 10:13.)

We believe sinners are saved and kept saved by faith in Christ alone (Tit. 3:4-8; Eph. 4:30), which is a free gift (Rom. 5:15) that cannot be earned (Eph. 2:8-10.)

We believe in the equality and universal priesthood of all Christians (Matt. 20:27; 1 Pet. 2:9; Rev. 5:10) and in the unity, love and fellowship of all born again Bible believing Christians (1 John 3:23.)

We believe the Bible is inspired (1 Tim. 3:16), inerrant (John 10:35b), infallible (2 Tim. 2:15) and eternally preserved (Ps. 12:6,7.)

We believe the King James Bible is God's final perfect and infallible word to the world (Ecc. 8:4.)

We believe that the Rapture (John 14:1-3) will occur before the Great Tribulation (Rev. 4:1.)

We believe in a literal thousand-year reign of Jesus Christ on the earth, better known as the millennial reign, which will occur after Daniel's 70th week, better known as the Great Tribulation (Zech. 14:1-10; Matt. 25:31-44.)

We believe in a literal False Prophet in the religious sphere (Rev. 16:13) and a literal Antichrist in the political sphere (Rev.11:7), which are both to come in the near future. This view, we believe, is consistent with the Scripture and with the first three hundred years of the Church, with aspirations from leaders such as Irenaeus onwards, believing that a literal Antichrist would appear on the scene shortly before Jesus Christ's return.

When the Protestant Reformation was launched, this historical view was officially altered, and replaced with the 12th century view that the office of the Papacy was Antichrist. However, while we believe the Pope to be a type of antichrist/false prophet, we cannot agree with the Reformed position that all popes are the Antichrist of Scripture; for we believe that the Jews would only recognise a Jewish Messiah (not a Gentile) and furthermore, we believe in the historical belief that the Antichrist may come from the Jewish tribe of Dan (Gen. 49:17.)

Four things need to occur before the Antichrist can be unveiled on the world stage:

1) A major apostasy and falling away must occur (2 Thess. 2:1-5; 1 Tim. 4:1-3; 2 Tim. 3:1-7)

2) The Holy Spirit must cease to restrict the man of sin (2 Thess. 2:5-9)

3) Modern technology and satellite television are now available to be used at the disposal of the future Antichrist and False Prophet (Rev. 1:7; 11:10)

4) And then the true Church will be removed from the earth or better known as the Rapture (1 Thess. 4:15-18)

We do not believe in the ecumenical movement (2 Cor. 6:14-18; Rev. 18:4,5.)

We do not believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit i.e., speaking in tongues, healings, miracles, visions and prophecies are needed for this post-apostolic age.

And we are neither Calvinist nor Arminian.
